About Bailey
I work with individuals 13+, primarily with challenges related to anxiety, depression, and disability. I aim to create an environment that is especially welcoming to 2SLGBTQIA+ populations, with a special focus on trans folks. Being trans-non-binary myself, I understand that the world can be a scary place for us, and that it is difficult to be authentic and explore your identity openly. I am also aware of the ways that different identities can intersect to make the trans journey uniquely difficult for each person. Together we can explore your identity and experiences, seek further connection to our community, and deepen our understanding of the space we deserve in this world. I believe therapy ought to be tailored to each individual’s needs. Working with me, you can expect a relationship that nurtures collaboration, highlighting your goals, strengths, and values that will ultimately form the bedrock of our therapeutic journey. I typically lean on an integrative approach to therapy that utilizes aspects from Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. In simple terms, this means I put a lot of value on examining the narratives we weave of our own lives, challenging the thoughts and cognitions for the purpose of change, and practicing flexibility in accepting the things we cannot change. I also carry a strong focus on Feminist Therapy and Anti-Oppressive practices that values empowerment and centers people’s experiences in the systems they exist within. I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, specializing in disability and social justice, at the University of Toronto. I am currently completing a Master’s of Education in Counselling Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), set to conclude in April 2026. My work is also deeply informed by my extensive experience on mental health crisis lines, university career centres, and residential treatment homes for folks with developmental disabilities.

Cancellation Policy
When you book a session, your clinician reserves their time for you. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please notify your clinician at least 24 hours in advance, so that someone else may utilize the time. Similarly, when your clinician is unable to keep the appointment with you, they will give you more than a 24-hour notice and rebook to another date and time.
In the case whereby you are unable to provide 24-hour cancellation notice (e.g., you cancel an appointment on the day of the appointment [i.e., the same day] or do not show up for a scheduled appointment), unless for emergency reasons (e.g., medical or family emergencies), you will be charged the fee for your session and payment will be required at your next scheduled session.
Note: Employee Assistance Programs and other insurance-based programs will not reimburse you, the client, for missed appointment costs.
