About Maria
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that won’t shift can affect everything—your relationships, your energy, and your ability to cope day to day. Trauma, ADHD, and the impact of emotional or physical injury can leave you feeling exhausted, disconnected, and unsure how to move forward. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with adults (18+) seeking support for depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, relationship stress, and major life transitions—including returning to the workforce after time away due to injury or overwhelm. Therapy can help you regain a sense of control, clarity, and confidence. In our work together, you don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan. I offer a calm, supportive space where we focus on practical, meaningful change—whether that’s managing anxiety, processing trauma, navigating ADHD, or rebuilding stability in your life or relationship. Sessions are collaborative and flexible. Some focus on concrete tools—like calming your nervous system or managing overwhelm and focus. Others offer space to talk things through and feel genuinely heard. In couples therapy, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. I bring over 25 years of experience in corporate leadership development, working alongside psychologists, along with more than 14 years in psychotherapy practice. I value new experiences and challenges, which continues to shape how I support growth and change. Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to creative outlets like painting, writing, and cooking. I also spent over two years living fully off-grid in a small cabin, in the middle of a large forest —an experience that deepened my understanding of resilience, simplicity, and slowing down. A quote that often resonates in my work is: “It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life… The very cave you fear to enter turns out to be the source of what you are looking for.” – Joseph Campbell If you’re ready to feel more grounded, more connected, and begin allowing yourself to experience joy again—even if that feels unfamiliar—I’d be glad to support you.

Cancellation Policy
When you book a session, your clinician reserves their time for you. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please notify your clinician at least 24 hours in advance, so that someone else may utilize the time. Similarly, when your clinician is unable to keep the appointment with you, they will give you more than a 24-hour notice and rebook to another date and time.
In the case whereby you are unable to provide 24-hour cancellation notice (e.g., you cancel an appointment on the day of the appointment [i.e., the same day] or do not show up for a scheduled appointment), unless for emergency reasons (e.g., medical or family emergencies), you will be charged the fee for your session and payment will be required at your next scheduled session.
Note: Employee Assistance Programs and other insurance-based programs will not reimburse you, the client, for missed appointment costs.
