About Tim

Do you find yourself carrying the weight of anxiety or depression, navigating a major life change, or struggling to find words for what you’re feeling inside? Maybe you’re working through questions about your identity, processing loss, figuring out how to navigate relationships, or just trying to feel more like yourself. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone, and you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

I believe that healing looks different for everyone, and that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and care as we explore what’s getting in the way and what’s possible for you. Together, we’ll create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and genuinely tailored to what you need, whether that’s making sense of big emotions, building new coping tools, or simply feeling more at home in yourself.

One thing that may make our work a little different: music. You don’t need any musical background or talent, just an openness to exploring it. In sessions, music can be a gentle doorway into feelings and insights that are sometimes hard to reach through words alone. That might look like listening together and reflecting on what comes up, using sound to support relaxation, or finding creative ways to express something you’ve been holding. And if music doesn’t feel like the right fit for you, talk therapy is absolutely an option too — we’ll always find the approach that works best for you.

I especially enjoy working with clients of all ages, from kids to retired folks. As a gay man, I also enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, and I’m committed to showing up for you in a way that honours your full identity and lived experience.

Educational Background:

I completed my Master of Music Therapy from Wilfred Laurier University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Certified Music Therapist (MTA, MT-BC) member with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT).

Cancellation Policy

When you book a session, your clinician reserves their time for you. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please notify your clinician at least 24 hours in advance, so that someone else may utilize the time. Similarly, when your clinician is unable to keep the appointment with you, they will give you more than a 24-hour notice and rebook to another date and time.

In the case whereby you are unable to provide 24-hour cancellation notice (e.g., you cancel an appointment on the day of the appointment [i.e., the same day] or do not show up for a scheduled appointment), unless for emergency reasons (e.g., medical or family emergencies), you will be charged the fee for your session and payment will be required at your next scheduled session.

Note: Employee Assistance Programs and other insurance-based programs will not reimburse you, the client, for missed appointment costs.
